About Preston Hackspace
Where to find us
What is a Hackspace?
According to Wikipedia:
“A hackerspace (also referred to as a hacklab, makerspace or hackspace) is a community-operated workspace where people with common interests, often in computers, machining, technology, science, digital art or electronic art, can meet, socialize and collaborate.”
We want to create one of these spaces in Preston. A place for people to come and tinker and to remove the barrier to innovation.
We are currently in the early stages of gathering people who would be interested in joining, being involved in and contributing towards a hackspace in Preston.
